A screw dewatering is a type of screw press in which the processed material is pressed against a screen by a tapered screw to extract and separate the filtrate from the raw material. It is used in the field of juice extraction such as soymilk, tea, fruits and vegetables.

Due to the high pressure acting on the screen, thick punched plates were conventionally used, which limited the reduction of the hole diameter. With our electron beam drilled screen, finer holes can be drilled in a plate of the same thickness, greatly improving the separation efficiency.

*Tested with soybeans, the data on our screens showed that;

　-　With our improved dewatering rate, soybeans can be squeezed to the limit in the production of soymilk.
　-　With an equivalent quantity of raw material, the quantity of filtered liquid is 10-20% higher.
　-　The amount of soy pulp is reduced by nearly half and contamination from squeezed waste is prevented.
